Hello Dan as per our conversation on the sea bugs I found the issue seems to lie in Kraken, seaserpent.cs and deepseaserpent.cs, as neither should drop nets or mibs (I was getting doubles of those is what alerted me) also on a side note: Deepseaserpents dont give scales, just ribs when carved. Only SeaSerpents give Blue Scales.

Dungeon ShameLevels: 2,3 & 5, Wind, *Sea North of Bushido Dojo, UnderWorld *only open water spawn for Kraken is Tokuno Sea

Also special fishing nets are 25 stones (currently they are 15 stones).

The colored nets are rare but I think they are scripted a little too rare in SpecialFishingNet.cs I bet no one can come up with a colored one, and meanwhile the nets have been dropping way too often as it is.

Further down in the script it applies MIB to Kraken, so Kraken.cs shouldn't have a MIB drop chance.

I am having trouble verifying the weight but I will jump on OSI right now.

I have removed the chance for a Kraken to drop a MIB. Only Krakens that are "fished up" using a special fishing net now have a chance to drop a MIB.

I am having trouble verifying the weight but I will jump on OSI right now.
10-4 they must changed the weight since my day I have gotten alot of nets just saying. Yes 1 in 100 my bad

No idea how to verify the actual "odds" of getting colored ones. I will see if I can find some information. I did do a quick search of Heritage and there are a few different colored ones out there but they definitely are rare.

After tomorrows restart:

Only krakens who are "fished up" using special fishing nets will have a chance to drop MIBS.
Only Sea Serpents who are "fished up" will have a chance to drop nets.
Deep Sea Serpents have also been tweaked.

[Ive been fishing like a madman to get the bow or leggings and they aren't even scripted.]
Found missing content. Sometimes you fish up a ships strongbox instead of a chest when doing MIB. Also there are missing artifacts. Kelp woven leggings, driftwood bow etc...

That's wierd. Since its sunken treasure. Driftwood bow should be preloot ie: fished up....and others not chest spawn is the impression I got from what wha5

You sure all arties are in there couldn't find wedding dress and some others. Wierd that it's handled in tchest.cs. since its sos only. Curious.

I am tracking that we still need to:
  • Look at the Ship's Strong Box and get it coded.
  • Missing Copper Bricks / Ingots from the Décor item list.
Am I missing anything else?

Okay as of right now the double loot drops and the kraken spawn in open oceans bugs have been fixed.

I am tracking that we still need to:
  • Look at the Ship's Strong Box and get it coded.
  • Missing Copper Bricks / Ingots from the Décor item list.
Am I missing anything else?
That covers everything I'm aware of, I'm not 100% savvy on the High Seas portion yet but I am curious if the quest leveling works correctly, as you should get harder quests for completing them quickly and easier ones as your participation wanes. Still investigating this ATM.

With the introduction of Ship Strongboxes this entire bug report has been addressed.

Fixed.
