On OSI there's a vendor mechanic that if you sell to the same vendor a lot of the same product the price decreases. And the counter is to buy a lot of that item to raise the price.
I don't know the specifics of why this mechanic was introduced, but I suspect it was to combat selling items like inscribed magery scrolls or magically created food.
The suggestion is this: Since we don't have the sell option to balance the system, can we get set prices?
