In the Tinker Menue under Parts you can build Sextantpart and in assemblys too but the ones under parts require only ignots and under assembly you need axle and gears and hinges (witch is the original way to make it)

Original way:

1. craft axels
2. craft gears
3. craft hinges
4. assemble axels and gears
5. assemble axels and gears and hinges to sextant parts
6. craft sextant

Now you can either use the original way or just

1. craft sextant part
2. assemble sextant

I confirmed on EA that you can do it either way as well.

It still takes the same amount of resources.

One way just skips a step but still eats the iron ingots normally used to create the two parts.

It may be something I change later on but for now anyways, seems to be intended.
