FIXED The Scholar's Halo auction

I bid 500k for the Scholars halo and did not receive my gold back after the Auction ended. I had about 650,000 gold in my bank when i placed bid, after auction ended i did not receive the halo, nor did i receive a refund of gold.

No, they did not win the auction.

They are claiming that they never got a refund for being outbid when it ended.

If i did receive the gold i truly have no idea were it went. I have not play a lot in the last week or so because work has had me super busy.

I had just a little more then this left in my bank after I place my bid for 500k.

Are you sure that was the character you placed the bid on?

Also @Mrriots you did on this, no? How did you get your gold back the last few times?

I am not sure I did get anything back. My bank accounts tend to grow little by little and I cant always remember the exact amounts that were on it before and after auction end:/

The gold is given back as soon as you are outbid.

Who's was doing the auction? Can anyone find out if there was a buyout value?

This was the first auction I have done and I am not certain how the message displays... I did not notice one that informed me that I was out bid. Mrriots has won several auctions in the past, maybe he can confirm if he recalls seeing such a message this round. He told me his highest bid and that was defiantly higher then mine and so I know I was out bid. @Mrriots do you recall getting an out bid message?

Well after the changes I have not getting an outbid message. And the auction safe has not been updating.

By changes i mean the big report afew weeks ago. Last auction bugged out aswell.

The last auction completed correctly the menu just did not always seem to update bids right away like it had before, most likely cosmetic.

Phoe was the winner. No idea who they are on these forums.

What we want to narrow down is the outbid messages your supposed to get with a refund of gold. Have you ever seen one of these?

I have always won before, and feom what I know the gold has been refunded. About that message i cant say if i had or not. That be @BooshBooshBoosh

could we put up a 1 day test auction on something silly and look for the message. were would the message appear? I assume it should be a popup that we have to closed out of?

Yeah, we are still looking into this. It will take a little but if we can confirm it is deleting gold, I have a copy of Heritage zipped up from a day or so before it ended with all the bids so we do plan on returning some gold here, once we get the issue narrowed down and fixed.

You get this message in the condensed version. Once you hit it, this pops up:

Of course it expires after a while, so if this happens you never see it. And another thing. You have to log onto the character that got out bid to get this message.
