Static Mining PLEASE!!

I use up 50 charges on a prospectors tool, to only find 1-2 veins of ore that I want.. and 70% of the rest is dull copper... This randomness is not fun.. Some of us have been mining for 20 years.. and this randomness is horrible.. can we PLEASE have static mining nodes again.. so at least mining can be fun again!?

I agree! let's bring back static ore nodes. I'm not sure why the change was made to make it all random. Whatever the reason was I would like to see the system return to static ore nodes.

With recall mining, I can see this quickly being abused. Rotating every so often may help…

The only difference i see, is that the scripters wont be selling as many ingots, cuse the non scripters will be able to harvest the ore they need.. hell, i would even be down for the captcha to come back, if it was switched back to static nodes.

The only difference I see between recall or script mining is the additional effort needed to recall. What would that take, another line in the script code?

Script miners are going to run their scripts weather we have random or static ore nodes.

Exactly this. Not to mention that static nodes will mean that only thing that will change is amount of higher tier ore on the market. It's not a problem to mark a whole book of certain ore with static nodes and then mine the hell out of it.

This is the only script I use:

targettile 'current'
pause 10000

I change the pause for whatever im gathering, right now its sand.
