FIXED Shadowguard keys

Say you have a group of 10 players. If the party leader clicks the roof while one or more are outside [near the air ellys on the steps for instance], the entire group will only use the key of the party leader. A group of 9 could endlessly chain roof with one rotating player running keys.

So how is this supposed to work?

All players need keys complete to go into the roof, as it normally does here. The bug is that if you have one or more players stand outside, it only takes the party leader's keys and leaves everyone else fully keyed to do another run.

Everyone has to key initially, but they keep their keys to use again with this exploit and only the party leader's gets used.

You don't get a physical key for shadowguard. Also if you haven't all done the rooms in the same party it won't let the person who hasn't enter the roof till they have.

What I’m asking, is how do the mechanics work on EA. Meaning, if a player in the part strays too far, do they get warped in regardless of location?

No, if they are outside of the area aka down the stairs near the air ellys [the only way out on osi] - it will prevent the entire party from continuing until that player either comes back inside or is removed from the party

No.

Step 1: Everyone keys
Step2 : Player 10 runs outside
Step3 : Player 1 [Party Leader] Presses the "roof" button
Step 4: Player 10 comes back inside
Step 5: Player 1 hits the roof button again to go inside.

After they finish their current run, all of the players EXCEPT the party leader remain keyed to immediately go back in.

Everyone needs the rooms done initially, but after using this exploit only the keys of the party leader get "used" so the other players remain roof ready.

ok, because they never warp into the room. Let me ask you this. According to your model above, isn't there a delay from when the party leader hits roof button, to when they are warped into the roof? If so, what happens if a player runs out of range after the button is hit?

Bandaid fix until we can find out exactly how it works. The exploit has been removed.
