Not A Bug Not enough Pirate ships?

Hey,

There doesn't seem to be many pirates at sea. I had a crew out for a few hours last night and not a single pirate was in sight after patrolling around pretty much the entire Britannian Mainland. I wonder if the "Rising Tide" event somehow is linked to normal pirate/merchant ships? Or something?

Any interest in increasing this? Or posting where these guys spawn?

We can. but not by many or they get really congested.

If there was some kind of tracking for pirates that would be great. "Pirate ship located at 102S'52W or something.

There is, listen to the pirate babble at the Sea Market Docks. The pirate ships have a pre described course, so they will make it back to that point eventually.
