FIXED Miasma Chest Drop

I may just be really unlucky, but I have not had a chest drop off of Miasma since I started hunting it. I have killed it approximately 50 times without a chest. But again, I may just be unlucky...

I find it drops close to that of OSI. Perhaps you have been unlucky. The one issue there might be is who actually drops them.
As I have received several off of Master Jonath, however, he doesn't appear on this list: *Non-Paragons that drop chests
This afternoon I'll thumb through the scripts to see if the Mobs on this list [*] are all dropping them and petition for Jonath to be corrected.

Thanks Red Beard. I definitely am not ruling out my lack of luck. It just seems to be really bad, if that is the case. Took Miasma down last night a bunch and still no chests.

Ok Rend and Stygian Dragon are the ones that aren't dropping the chests like they should according to UO.coms list. Should Master Jonath continue to drop them since he isn't on the list?

Alright so I am going to mark this one as fixed even though the Miasma chests are working as intended.

What was fixed here is Master Jonath no longer drops chests but Rend and the Stygian Dragon do now.

Uuuh. any named ML mob (or paragon) will have a chance to drop a chest if they would normally drop a tmap.

Both Uoguide and Stratics can be wrong at times. Just like when later publishes remove items from a loot table but it does not get updated on the fan sites.

Does Master Theophilus currently drop? I haven't had a chest from him. Maybe that's the mixup? I've been in bedlam alot...

Since he is listed on that page, I am guessing that the above line is inaccurate

He can't be a paragon but he has a check to drop the chest. Also yes, any paragon has a chance.
