Not A Bug Legendary Items

It appears to me, that out of the over 20 Legendary items I have obtained, Every single last one is a weapon. I've only seen 1 legendary armor piece that was a drop from Doom. Do Armor pieces not drop as normal loot? Or is it like a .0005% chance to get one... I'm thinking others have had this experience as well, but this is either a flaw with code, or i'm going deep on the odds here. Given for instance the items have a 50% probability of being armor or weapons, that's 1 in 1,048,576.

i have also noticed this the only time ive recieved legendary armor is from the arty drop in gaunt

I think it has to do with property caps being wrong here, for instance I see mana regen 9 on weapon regularly, NEVER see above mana regen 4 on armor. which results in more weapons being legendaries.

in addition, EP is supposed to cap at 35% on jewels, SDI caps at 18% on jewels, DI caps at 30% on jewels, skills cap at 20 on jewels, all of these values are wrong atm and means that finding a legendary one will be VERY hard, and I find a new one about once per hour thats wrong, just haven't complied a complete list yet

in addition to that, the values on OSI come in different increments, example, EP 17% doesn't exist on jewels because OSI rounds it to 20%, same for every mod that is incrementally wrong, which creates stronger items overall, but MUCH more frequently cursed

Then if anything weapon legendary items are appearing to be spawning way too much while the other seems seem spot on.

This would probably correctly be due to the high mana regen on weapons and the fact that it is capped lower for armor. If the cap was dropped for those weapons then they would appear correctly as greater or maybe majors.

Keep in mind that i've only personally farmed about 12 of those that I have, All of which are from high profile mobs, and generally with 1500 to 2500 luck.

More testing will need to be done. There have been minor changes made to loot drops during the past week, like resists not applying correctly, that could cause more armor to appear as Legendary and thus not make it seem like it is items only.
