FIXED Laifem the Weaver

So now that Dermott is back, I was able to complete Laifem the Weaver's quest chain and gain access to her decorative rugs. I bought some last night. Just this morning (after server restart) I went back to buy more and was met with the message:

"I'm sorry, I don't have any carpets to sell you yet." (This is what she says before you complete her quest.)

I tried to take the quest again, and she said:
"I cannot offer you the quest again."
"I'm sorry, I have nothing for you at this time."

(I would have posted screenshots with this but they wouldn't load. I'll keep trying...)

As far as I know, once the quest is completed a character should always have access to Laifem's rugs. I don't think it's a "complete every 24 hours" quest chain or something like that. Do it once, and you can buy her rugs. I could be wrong, but the only message that appears upon completion of the quest is this:

"You have succeeded in aiding Laifem’s attempts to master Britannian weaving, and can now access her inventory of decorative carpets!"

Thanks. I feel like this must be a bug affecting Brosephine only. I completed the quest on another character and have been able to buy endless amounts of rugs. Going to wait and see if that's still the case tomorrow morning after restart.

If possible, could you try doing it on another character and letting me know what happens after the restart? If it saves for the other character or not? Would at-least help narrow it down.

Just went with my alt (Resmiranda, on a different account) who completed the quest yesterday to buy more rugs after this morning's restart. No dice. I got the same messages as Brosephine: can't buy rugs, can't get the quest again.

Sounds like the character flag that is set from False to True, for buying the carpets, is set back to default (false) on a restart.

The quest saves fine but now can't set you from false to true again since it is a one and done quest. Thanks for doing the research.

Sure thing! Will you be able to reset things on these characters so that they'll be able to get the quest again and/or buy rugs?

Yes for sure. I will look at fixing "bugged" characters once the underlying issue is resolved.

Dan, should be saving. I’ve found, the higher value flags are problematic. Vorspire probably has a better answer for this. The next flag, void pool, can we see if this saves? If not then I can move these to the extended flags. If you don’t want to do another restart so soon, I can check it when I get home.

The void pool seems to save information correctly, battle wise if that's what you mean.

No I mean does the value save at server start.

No idea, I am at work right now but will test it out as soon as I get home.

I checked and EVERYONE on my server has VoidPool False. I set myself to True and will report back tomorrow but I doubt it will still be True.

This issue has been fixed.
