I hope you keep it as is, but OSI, the hoard maps are only in paragon chests and chests on creatures like Miasma. He got it from killing a mob and it wasn't in a chest. Paragon are quite a bit tougher and the drop rate seems way low so I like how you have it now. Hoping you don't change it.

Yeah, maps spawning on everything instead of just having to farm those specific named mobs for chests is why the change was out in.

Are maps tied to creatures fame level in any way? ...or can I hunt mongbats for Hoard maps? Perhaps a significantly better chance on higher famed creatures?

They are totally tied to the monster's strength.

In this case specifically, whatever you killed that had that was probably a "harder" mobile.
