Shouldn't the crab pots be stackable?

Also, I threw out about 125 pots today, and I never got any gains towards fishing skill. It is to my knowledge that fishing skill could be gained by crab/lobster fishing. This was also done during power hour, and I did get gains by regular fishing. Correct me if I'm wrong please

Another bug, I docked my boat at the high seas loaction for a minute to bank some fish. When i returned my boat was gone. This was a new boat, not decaying. when i tried to recall off the key, it was giving me an "unavailable" notice.

The bug for recalling off the boat keys says "you are not allowed to travel there"

Do me a quick favor, if you were in trammel go to Felucca or vise versa, will that work?

The floating docks will remove a boat after it being at the floating docks for 20 minutes. You should be able to recall off of the key though.

As far as gaining skills from throwing lobster pots, you'll need to post some official UO sources or multiple statics posts.

I do not have an "official UO source, or account" , which is why i play here. I haven't got the means to create another account and test my theory there. Isn't there some info regarding this on some other forum I'm not aware of? Or can you point me in the direction to research it myself I guess?

I just tried to recall off the key of my new boat that i purchased AGAIN, and from 2 different chars I could not recall to the boat from the key.

This is the second time it has told me I am not allowed to travel there.

Taking the time to travel by boat to the high seas dock in Feluccia will take some time. But let me see what i can do

@Noah you can access to the official UO wiki, uoguide, stratics, ect.

Try to recall from the bank. You do not need to be at the docks to recall. Have you only tried traveling from the floating docks? It might be the docks that are bugged. Regardless send me a PM with your account name and I will retrieve your boats.

runes cannot be marked from high seas docks. traveling to trammel is easy. I go thru the gate at delucia
however fel high seas docks i will have to get on a boat and travel there unless there is an easier way?

Another thing, shouldn't you be able to get crab/lobster quests without traveling all over the damn map to turn them in? Seriously, fishing on this server is a waste of time if you have to travel all over the map....
Can anyone confirm about the crab and lobster quests? I don't play OSI so I cannot confirm bugs or do research on it.

You can search stratics posts, that is how you can do research. Saying you can't help is wrong. If you can access Google, you can help. All that information makes it easier on us. Also on real UO there is no portal to the floating docks at all. All the fishing quests are done by sailing near the requested dock / fish monger.

As of right now the only aspect of this I am going to fix is the Lobster traps not gaining skill. Everything else, even though it is tedious, is how it is on real UO. Real UO has released some hints that they are working on a High Seas 2.0. When this comes out we will take another look at the quests and Fish Monger.

I will update this post again when the Lobster traps not allowing you to gain Fishing has been fixed.

Fishing has been changed as follows:

• Players must now have 75+ fishing to gain skill and have a successful harvest in deep water.
• Players can now gain fishing from lobster traps, as they would regular Fishing.

The other issues, in regards to the floating docks and losing boats, could not be replicated. Please open another report if you still have issues and I will look into it.
