Not A Bug First Aid Belt not working

I tried using the First Aid Belt and it seems to be bugged or not working. I can't heal my character with the bandages inside the belt.

Is the belt container open? I'm pretty sure it's a client restriction.

Are you double clicking them and targeting yourself?

No client macros or steam macros?

No, I only have UOS self healing enabled. When i put the belt in my backpack and open it, it's working.

Okay, but equipped and open it won't?

If you doing the action through a uosteam macro and it's not working it may be a uos issue. It's quite dated at this point and no way for us to upgrade it.

Otherwise, I'll see if there is anything client side that can be tweaked.

Has anyone else had issues?

Yeah, if that is the case there is nothing I can do except recommend a different assistant/client but I'll still look into it.

I do believe this is a bug related to UOSteam. In my testing using razor it also seems to be working.

ooh! actually Dan this may be a bug. I had the same issue in Orion, always had to keep one bandage in the bag.
They will be calling using the NewTarget packet, which calls the use item with the mobile. ( I was looking at this recently, because the same method is meant to work in EC with potions)

Confirmed, not a server bug. its a client bug.
for Orion and UOS they are locating the bandage inside the backpack and not the belt or character.

Running in circles here, but I just had someone test OSI. The features work there.

Putting 100 bandages in a belt and wearing it:

Heritage
Orion.Count('0x0E21', any, backpack) 0 bandages
Orion.Count('0x0E21', any, Player.Serial()) 100 bandages

OSI
Orion.Count('0x0E21', any, backpack) 100 bandages
Orion.Count('0x0E21', any, Player.Serial()) 100 bandages

So OSI somehow have references to the belt items but in the backpack...but from the client side. How? I have no idea. Can an item be invisible in the backpack?

But using Orion on OSI also shows it? If so maybe it is actually something server side.

Trying to find that out. If I can get hold of one on the osi test centre I'll compare the properties. I wonder if they made it hacky and force the container to be the backpack.

But when I just tried I ended up locking an item in a slot and broke it.
