FIXED Dyeing Items From The King's Collection

See here that I've placed an Ornate Bed from The King's Collection in its original color.



According to this website, items from The King's Collection "can be dyed using a furniture dye tub, natural dyes from plants or Tokuno dyes."

No dice on Heritage...





I believe UO may be trying to gaslight me. I know a piece of furniture when I see one...

I get the same message if I try to dye the bed in deed form (although under these circumstances, I'm more inclined to believe the game. A deed is not a piece of furniture...)



The same thing happens with the Four Post Bed, but I won't post more pictures for that. You get the idea. Probably, all items from The King's Collection need to be checked to make sure they are dyeable with a furniture dye tub, plant dyes, and Tokuno dyes.

Are there other beds you can also dye? Just curious.

No other beds can be dyed, just crafted with colored materials. The difference here is that items from the King's Collection should be dyeable and right now they're not. I'm not sure if the King's Collection beds are supposed to be dyeable when placed in a house or as a deed, but they differ from all other craftable beds in that they can be dyed.

Those two items can now be correctly dyed with the furniture dye tub while in deed form.
