Not A Bug Devourer of souls not vulnerable to Demon Slayer

I went in to Doom with a Demon slayer book for a bit of fun. I noticed that the devourer of souls there aren't vulnerable to demon slayer as claimed in their UO Guide entry

Yeah, I don't know what's going on. I went back and re-checked with my demon slayer book and with a regular book and I do roughly the same damage with both (used mind blasts to check since cold is their weakest resist, ~ 40-50 dmg on that particular devourer). I even went ahead into the github to look for the entry and the devourer is there, yet the demon slayer book in my possession doesn't work against it. That book does work against other demon types though.

You can simply bounce monster names off of this list.

Im not sure if that was not bcs of "mind blast" its affect by int and magery skill of caster-dunno if slayer apply with this spell

That seems to be it. I never would have thought to try a different spell since I thought all direct-damage spells applied slayer vulnerabilities

I don't know if this is pertinate to the original poster, but I agree, Demon slayers don't seem to work so well against the Devourer of souls.

Just tested, it works fine.

Go there with a mage, cast magic arrow. 11 dmg without slayer 22 with.

Not a bug. Will entertain if someone actually looks at the code.

Confirmed Working. I attacked some Devourers with identical bows with different 'slayer types'.
The correct slayer [Demon] doubles the damage.
