So, I died fighting miasma because I a tired noob who got his macros all messed up.
I Rezzed and tried to loot my corpse.
I can't remember the exact message but it said I gathered my belongings but things remained on my corpse (words to that effect)
My corpse stayed as a body, not bones as it would usually when gathering my belongings.
I restarted UO and got the same message.
I tried to see what was left on my corpse but the corpse window appeared empty and I have no idea what I had in my backpack so I don't know what I might have lost.
Steam was set to default, I tried setting it to gridded in case that would show if anything was in there and that time I got the message "corpse is empty"
when I switched it back to Default - I got the things remain on your corpse message
eventually, my corpse decayed and vanished.

I am at a loss as to what I might have lost or what was going on but this is all the details I can give you

It happen to me few times but thing is-always got all my stuff back even with that mssg

I wonder if it's weight related.

IE - if you use a lot of STR on gear or are very close/over weight OnDeath maybe on auto equip it has issues taking back everything.

We'll have to find a way to consistently replicate to narrow down exactly what the cause may be.
