FIXED Bow of Infinite Swarm

1) Swarm Effect on OSI lasts 15 Seconds, if the bow lands Swarm again it merely restarts the timer and displays the playername has been bitten by bees message.
-It currently has a timer of 60 seconds on Heritage which is hell on earth for PvP.

2)There is a missing animation that will be posted in a video below, you will notice some blue sparks fly whenever an arrow is flung at a player. It is little blue sparks that aren't the most noticeable thing in the world with everything going on but if you pay attention you will see it.
-These currently are not on Heritage

3)Damage from each tick on the swarm is 10 dmg per tick - (Regardless of magic resist - tested for curiosity)
-On heritage the damage is between 3-6 each tick.

4)Damage only ticks 3 times over the course of 15 seconds. - once every 5 seconds.
-On Heritage over the course of 15 seconds it ticks 8 fucking horrible times - over the course of 60 seconds it ticked 30 TIMES... that is one tick every 2 seconds.. that breaks a mage imo lol.

5) On RealUO when using an ability, Swarm should not go off.
-This is correct and seems to be working on Heritage - to set the record straight.

6) On RealUO carrying a torch will not allow the bees to hit you. It also has a really cool message which I will post a screenshot as proof below.
-This DOES NOT work on Heritage and the torch does not protect you!

Also the message that shows on Heritage is wrong - it should say these words - Note that every single time a player is hit and lands the bees and it refreshes the timer it should say this message below.

Lastly, here is a brief little pic of part of the animation that goes off every time a hit lands - note this animation only goes off if the PLAYER IS HIT

That last part about the animation. Does that happen on ANY hit? Also, on EA, is this resetting on hit, or does it wait until the current effects wear off?

I'm not sure if that's any hit I can double check!
Also, if the Swarm lands again it resets the 15 second timer.

The Blue animation happens on ANY HIT with THIS bow, whether it lands the swarm or not... BUT there is no animation on regular bows.

All I know is, @xG00BERx is right, in its current state it is very OP IF used in PvP. If we had a bigger pvp scene I am sure it would have been brought up much sooner.

It was in last nights bug fixes. I still need to add that blue effect but that’s minor. I’d like to investigate that more in EA.

@Dexter I just checked it was NOT in any recent update. The last time any artifact weapon was modified was 4 months ago.

It was in last nights bug fixes. I still need to add that blue effect but that’s minor. I’d like to investigate that more in EA.
I will try the hit with other artifacts to see if they do the blue animation especially the other new doom artifacts.

The Glenda does the same thing everytime I land a hit it does the little blue animation.
The Deceiver does not.

This was not entirely fixed.

I am not sure if the bee/torch part of the code was ever added but We just tested it again as during the PvP event someone hit me with the Bow of The Swarm and my torch wouldn't remove the bees... so we tested right now with the guild and yep... the torch is not working..

I will explain how this works again If a player with the Bow of the Swarm shoots another player they have a chance to get infested with Bees (The damage timer and stuff was fixed when this original post was made) but when you have a Torch in hand they immediately go away. If a player lands a Tick of Bees on you with the bow of the swarm and YOU EQUIP the Torch it IMMEDIATELY removes the bees from the player.

I believe this all can still be shown in the videos above. It still needs to be fixed and the bug needs to be reopened.

Well, whoever coded the candlewood torch was lazy. It was a part of a lot of the garbage SA code.

The Candlewood torch will correctly work after the next restart.
