FIXED Bola doesn't seem to work !!

I have been trying to use bolas to dismount, but I'm not sure if it's working properly, I tried 20+ times on different chars gear/ungeared to see if it works and it only misses everytime.

Here are a few tries I recorded:

Maybe someone should make further tests and see if there's something wrong or it is supposed to be that hard to use it !

i heard that osi changed bolas a while back to require hci to increase its chance to hit, not really sure what all that entails but maybe look into that.

That could possibly be it, I'm not sure if i'm doing anything wrong but its still not working, even using 40HCI against an ungeared char...

Thanks, we will figure out what is going on here and get it working how it should work. It does appear, based on the video and discussion here, to be an issue.

I think the formula is reversed. If you try to dismount a player with some defense chance increase and the player who throw the bola does not have any chance to hit, the dismount works 100% of the time. So for now if you remove your chance to hit, you can dismount anyone.

This is the formula applied:

double hitChance = toChance / (fromChance * 2);

dismount
}

I asked around the people i know that play osi and was told hci 45 gave a 50% dismount chance. I know for a fact its not 100% anymore.

If in the formula toChance and fromChance are swapped, is going to work like you said. 50% chance with 45hci
