I am not sure if this is a bug or not if someone can give me some feedback and its not ill just delete this post. Is it normal after dieing on a boat you can't enter the ship after walking off it while still dead.

Does it give a message or simply just does not work?

It simply wont work.

I have confirmed on UO that if you die you can not access your boat if you leave it, the only exception is if the blank is directly next to land and you do not need to double click it but can simply walk on it.
