Not A Bug Blank Scrolls

I accidentally double clicked on a stack of blank scrolls, and it gave me the targeting reticle.. this struck me as odd.. not sure what i would target to use a blank scroll on?

They must be using the wrong itemid

Could they possibly be prepatched @Omalley?

Otherwise since we have the ItemID wrong for blank scrolls it thinks it is a spell casting scroll so it auto props the casting icon.

I just bought a brand new scroll from the mage in luna, and it does the same as they ones in my chest at my house.

no, it doesn't work that way. EDIT: What do you mean pre-patched?

So at some point blank scrolls used an old outdated graphic. (about 5 exist for "blank" scrolls)

Jump on Heritage and say [searchimage or [searchimages

Say Scroll.

You can put one of the blank scroll IDs on any item id and if you double click it the client will want a target.

I reported it and it was fixed about 2 years ago, it now uses the right ItemID. Since Heritage is 3 years old, you used to be able to buy the wrong itemid from the Scribe. Maybe this is a wrong one? One of us would need to see it in-game.

Alright so while it is odd, I just tested it on Atlantic and double clicking a blank scroll pulls up the same target.

Not sure, but Ive been trying to think of why you would need to double click a scroll.. never noticed it before
