FIXED Bard masteries acting strange

I was in a party with Sesshomaru on his character Heimdall doing the Khal Ankur spawn, and he buffed me with a bard mastery (Provoking) spell Invigorate that gave me +11 str, dex, and int. The buff should only be active while I'm in the party with him, and while the mastery is turned on (has an initial cost + upkeep cost). Around 40 minutes later, I'm sitting in my player house, out of the party, and the buff is still active (doesn't appear in my tooltips). A full relog doesn't remove it, so I'm guessing it is staying active like Protection, or Vamp Embrace would (until server restart).

So to test it some, I went back and joined a party with him. He cast the spells on me to give me the buffs, then turned them off again (it removes the stats properly upon doing this) however if you cast the spell on the other player, and he leaves the party.. the buff stays on indefinitely.

The invigorate buff should give:

Intone cost: 22 mana / Upkeep cost: 5 mana
This is an invigorating tune interwoven with magical energy. It increases the alertness of party members and makes them feel empowered, giving them bonuses to their stats: Strength, Intelligence and Dexterity increased by 8 (base) +2 for each complementary skill at 120 up to 14 at 4x Legendary. Hit Points increased by up to 20 +2 for each contemplary skill at 120 up to 26 at 4x Legendary. This Hit Point Increase is not capped by the 25 HPI from suit properties, so it is possible to achieve 176 Hit Points (150 strength + 25 Hit Point Increase + 26 from this mastery song. All party members are healed every 4 seconds by 4-16 (base) up to 22 HP at 4x Legendary.

So for this following example Player A will not be a Bard, Player B will be a Bard to clear up any confusion.
Player A, and Player B are in a party together. Player B casts Invigorate on Player A. Player A receives an icon in his buff tray that shows the buff being given, and the + stat, and gains a healing regeneration effect that causes the sparkle animation to play. If Player A leaves the party before Player B manually removes the Invigorate buff (or recalls away, or runs away) the buff icon is removed, the healing regeneration effect is removed, and but the stat will remain until Player A joins a party with Player B (or another bard with Invigorate), has Invigorate cast on Player A to activate it a second time (no additional stat is given) and then cast on Player A one final time to deactivate it. Fully logging out doesn't remove the stat buff (though I imagine a server crash, or restart would).

I've played with him a few times, and we have to make it a point to manually turn it off when we're done playing together as it's really broken at the moment giving a potential +36 free stat points.

All of that has been fixed. You have to remain in the party now. The question is does distance or the bard getting killed cause it to end? It would make sense that it does.

We would have to test it again, but when we were doing the spawn the other night here's how it went:
I was completely off screen at the south east side of the Khal Ankur spawn, Spiffdaddy was towards the North West exit of the spawn area. He got surrounded, and died, and left the spawn to revive then spent a good 25 minutes looking for a necro ring or brace at which point I left the dungeon, turned in points at the NPC, went out the T2A exit near the PvP arena, recalled to my house, and I still had the buff.
So not only did distance not cause it to turn off, neither did him dying. He died a few times during the whole endeavor, and I had the stat the whole time. It wasn't until I went to my house that I started looking into where the buff was coming from as it wasn't in my buff tray (that I noticed) the entire time we played (possibly after the first time he died).

So we did some testing for you Dan:

Distance:
We started at Luna gate. If Spiff activates Invigorate, I can run all the way to my player house (well outside of Luna), or go through the Brit gate to Brit, or recall around. As long as it's active where he is it stays active on me. If he de-activates the buff it turns it off for me whether I'm in the party, or not, and wherever I am though. It should still be limited based on the musician skills for how far it works (All bard abilities have a range. The bard must be within this range of the target to use the ability. Furthermore, the bard must remain within this range or the ability’s effect ends. The base range of all bard abilities is 8 tiles, with each 15 points of skill in the ability being used increasing this range by one tile. - https://uo.com/wiki/ultima-online-wiki/skills/bardic-skills/)

Dying:
We moved to Trammel Yew gate, and Spiff activates Invigorate, then suicides to the wildlife. When he died, it took the buff away from me, but immediately after it re-applies the stats. When he revives the buff is inactive for him, but the buff bonus is still granted to me (indefinitely).

in the video when i dyed took the eyecon off you but your stats seems to stay buffed other then the heal of corse

yea when i dyed he still had stats even tho it took the spell off me and i had to recast the songs it did take away the heal from him but his stats seems to stay buffed..havent not been able to log on a few days .having personal problems ..but let me know if futher test are needed guys....any way from what i saw even tho my spell songs were off on death..they kept him buffed the 11 points...
