Cannot Reproduce All blessed gear gone after a delayed res

So I left a char in a bad spot. Had to do some IRL stuff. Well he died. He had Gift of Life active so the RES window was up. He probably stayed like that for 45min. When i finally hit RES, he has a clean backpack. OMG. 5m+ in the bank this alt should not lose anything.

Steps to reproduce:

Gift of Life
Die
Leave dead until body naturally decays on ground
click OK to res.
say OMG

Blessed gear STAYED. Insured when BOOM. Sorry I often say blessed/insured in analog to each other

Blessed clothing stayed on the char in the pack. Insured gear when boom.

Seems to me GoL should have been expired long before 45 mins passed. From my experience the gump disappears in this case.
http://www.uoguide.com/Gift_of_Life. I think the max duration of the spell's effect is 20-22 min.

If the spell ressed you within those minutes the gump will stay up wont it?

And even if I didn't res, the insured gear should not have vanished.

Yeah we are going to test this and figure it out.

Have you tested it again? It is that easy to replicate?

Yeah, it gives you the gump within seconds but I've waited a few minutes before accepting res with no issues

Added one piece of insured gear

Then applied GoR and KILLED HIM MEAHAHHAHA



Now I will wait a while. See if the insured hat stays

So the insured item stayed….


Conclusion is that waiting 20+ minutes (waiting for the body to decay) has did not reproduce the lost insured item.

This test ruled out the body decaying.

Next I will reproduce a couple of factors that I know of when it happened:
I was on a treasure map run and had dug up a chest when I went afk
I was killed by a mob, perhaps an orc or something that can loot(?)

So...my next test will be to reproduce some of these factors...Kinda frustrating

I appreciate the "check the simple things first" but I've run this character for over a year with the gear. I'd like to think I've never needed insurance...
