Not A Bug Lumberjacking Resources

Heritage Trees are not producing the proper amount of wood making lumberjacking and resource gathering incredibly difficult.
Tested on OSI and Heritage and results are below.

OSI Test Center Results
Single Tree: 53 Swings, 451 Boards

Heritage Results
Single Tree: 5 Swings, 70 Boards

The reason why is on UO it takes an area, not sure how many tiles in all directions, and harvests all the trees from that area, from 1 tree. Then when you run around you need to find a new area to harvest from again.

On ServUO you can harvest from each individual tree. If you where to do a 10x10 box the amount of wood would still equal the same. If anything it combats the lumber recall macros.

However as you pointed out it is still wrong compared to real UO. That being said don't expect this fixed anytime soon but it will get added to the backlog.

Yea, this isn't a bug. Your sample size is way too small to show an issue. It varies drastically from vein to vein.

Has there been any development on lumberjacking? This is still a painful resource to gather on Heritage. What details do you need me to collect to get this resolved?

As any FYI, my lumberjacker has a script with 160 marked locations and runs out in about 10 minutes.

No there are a few reports on this issue.

The problem is on UO lumberjacking is more like mining. Where as you "harvest" from a group of trees, sort of like ore. Once you lumberjack, all on one tree if you want, a certain XxX square all the trees are out of wood.

On Heritage and all of ServUO when you lumberjack you do it per tree. Each tree has its own harvest amount. While it is smaller the same XxX square = the same amount of wood. Just seems to me like it makes it harder on the bot scripters, by having to have more rune books?

The reason why it might seem to take so long to reset is because you are not clearing all the trees in said area.

Not all trees can you try to cut down on TrueUO. Its like half of them, and the other half are not recognized as trees.

Multiple trunks? Nope.
No leaves? Nope.
And a few that would look like it but a nope.
