FIXED Whips here are not accurate - weapon specials are wrong, fencing is misnamed.

Currently on Heritage Bladed Whips are both the swordsman, and the fencing whips. All the whips on heritage have bleed / whirlwind as their abilities which is also wrong.

Whip – new weapon available across the following weapon skills with the associated special moves.
  • Bladed Whip
    • Swordsmanship
    • Bleed & Whirlwind
  • Spiked Whip
    • Fencing
    • Armor Pierce & Whirlwind
  • Barbed Whip
    • Mace Fighting
    • Concussion & Whirlwind
  • Weapon Speed: 3.25
  • Damage: 13-17
  • Range: 1
  • One Handed
  • Repairable via Tinkering
  • Can be imbued and reforged
  • Can be equipped by all races
  • Can be dyed with a leather dye tub

Out of curiosity, why don't whips have more range than 1?
In "reality" a whip can reach out, why not in UO, 3-4 tiles?
Might make a challenge to archery or throwing...

I could be wrong but i think that "all" non archery/throwing weapons are limited to a 1 tile attack mode. As in, i don't think they can be individually ranged up to x amount of tile reach. Not 100% sure about this.

Pole Arms should also have increased range to hit. Archery and Magery were the original intended range attack method.

Yeah, would be interesting to see what happens if the range was set to 2 tiles for pole arms.

That being said if they got a bump in range I think they should also get a damage reduction/ - HCI if the target is within 1 tile.

IE - if you are using a spear you can hit a target two tiles away but if that target gets within one tile then it also makes sense you'd have a harder time landing a hit or doing damage since you are now turning the length of that weapon into more of a liability than an advantage.
