Not sure this item is even supposed to exist. When clipping plants, you get 3 options on the clippers, I meant to clip a plain plant for reeds.. but forgot to change the clipper settings.. so now i have a:



I tried to make a dye with it to see what happens, and the alchemy gump just said:



Im guessing that "Plain Plant Clippings" shouldn't even exist.

Plain plant clippings should make plain dye. It's a thing. I've used them before to make plain dye (though I know how readily that will be believed here without proof... woohoo...) It comes out a grey-ish color.

I think the bug is that you're getting the message that you don't have the needed components. Did you try putting the clippings in your main pack instead of in a bag?

Okay, i guess @Brosephine is correct.. its makes a plain dye lol
