Not A Bug The salty sea quest

Trying to do the quest "The Zealatory Of Zipactriotl" and I'm on "The Salty Sea" sub quest.

Sailing round Jhelom and south britannia, killed some Water Elemental and Sea Serpents that are around there as you can see from my quest log.

The bug is I have thrown 4 nets out now and had Kraken and Deep Sea Serpens come up that have not progressed the quest as they should.

I have tried nets thrown out by my fisher and my character who has the quest killing them with my fisher not touching them.
I have tried throwing the nets out by the char on the quest and killing them on that char
Neither work.

From what I understand from statics(Not gospel I know) this should work. If not how do I progress the quest.

How did people who have the moonstone crystal on here get it?

The Moonstone crystal was an event item a long time ago, before we had the quest to obtain it.

Just hold off for now and we will take a look and see why it is not registering your kills.

It was the top reward during a Summer Festival, took hours collecting tickets to obtain, which is why only a few have it.

My boat is at 1539 3659 7 in Tram. That's the last place I tried 1 net on my quest character and got 1 Kraken and 1 Deep Sea Serpent and killed them both along with the other spawn on that character but did not progress

Haha! Easy mode?! had to grind quests for weeks to get it

Question: Are you using Salvage Hooks to summon the Deep Sea Serpent and Kraken?

Nope, I tried that as it was mentioned on stratics you can use them to summon them but as my character is not on the exploring the deep quest line I can't use them.

Just bog standard special fishing net

Yeah those would not have worked anyways.

You say the first two creatures counted fine though? It was just those two?

Yeah, water elementals and sea serpents you can find by sailing round the sea. That's exactly how I found them to kill them for the quest.

If I get more special fishing nets I can test to see if the sea serpents and water elemental pulled up from the net count to the quest too

Actually.... did you try using the [where command while you were out there?
