Great changes for Scribes! I have wanted the Spellweaving spellbook to be craftable for years, I love this change as I hated that quest. I guess the change to unicorns and ki-rins is a good one for tamers too!

I'm not sure this changes the fact that you have to take the quest, I believe it just lets you craft the spellbook.

I assumed the quest was gone from this part of the patch log :

There are no longer pre-requisite quests that have to be completed prior to being able to cast Spellweaving spells

This is correct. The quests are no longer needed/exist.

Yeah I hadn't read the patch log, until now. Not liking many of this months changes honestly.
