How is it no matter what happens if a player attacks another player they lose Stamina? It does not matter if I am on my mage casting Magic Arrow Fireball I can stam players out. If I have a bow and am shooting someone and they are simply running over time I will stam them out if they dont have regen or some sort of restoration?

All we did was simply grab a few of our characters and cast on eachother in party and literally my MA Fireball can remove stamina from that player. We also did this with our archers and shot at one another with non stam leech weapons and it was literally raping the other dudes stam and in this specific part the player had 165 Stam and he was losing 15% every hit against him.

the weird thing was on one of my characters I was being hit by that same archer and same bow and was losing absolutely 0 stamina when on my mage I literally have 25 Stamina?

None of this makes sense to me and its odd enough that I figured it would be worth reporting..

I am new but I thought of copying this here.

Stamina Loss
Player’s stamina loss is influenced by the type of armor as well as the amount of armor that is equipped. Each piece of armor up to five pieces will reduce the amount of stamina lost when taking damage. The armor pieces which provide the most stamina loss reduction will take priority.
  • Cloth armor, leather armor (leaf, tiger pelt, dragon turtle hide) and jewelry will give the same stamina loss reduction as Pub 80.
  • Blacksmith armor (platemail, ringmail, chainmail, and dragon armor) will provide a heavy bonus to stamina loss reduction.
  • Studded armor, hide armor (not dragon turlte hide), stone armor, bone armor, woodland armor, will provide a light bonus to stamina loss reduction.
Extracted from UOGuide: http://www.uoguide.com/Armor

It does not differentiate what the source of damage is, PVM or PVP, it is only influenced by the amount of damage taken.

definitely a bug. Currently, stamina loss does not take into account armor worn.

Yes, its always been like that. The only difference with EA, is that stamina loss is mitigated depending on your armor type.

I was wearing a fully reforged 5 piece suit bringing my Stamina inc up to 211+, depending on the wepon I was holding. MA/FB macro was taking 1/8 of my stamina with each hit. If I didn't cast divine fury frequently, I was at a loss and couldn't move of course. Which is crazy for a dexxer/archer with that high of stam inc to be dropped out that fast.

LIke I said, nothings changed. Not sure why this is all of a sudden an issue. I will go on EA and do some tests with and without armor. Also, we need to add in the stam loss mitigation by armor.

All of a sudden its an issue because its probably never been tested on the server as it was last night.

It just seems off that I have a full 70s suit with 115 resist, a very nice reforged suit with high stam inc, and high dex, but a MA/FB macro was destroying my stamina. Higher than normal IMO.

I was able to negate my stam with fireball on EA! Actually, with no armor, the stam loss is significantly higher than on ServUO.

Another issue i found, is stam regen rate is 3.5x slower on ServUO that on EA.

Well, I remember getting dumped on back in the day, and not being able to move. THis apprenlty is not possible anymore. Your stam regens at a rate much faster than you'll lose it.
