Gift of renewal can only be cast once within a certain period of time, whereas Gift of life can be cast on multiple targets.

would it be possible to make it so that the caster gets a debuff that says you how long till it can be cast again?
seems unfair this one ability has no way to track its duration.

Hello my friend. In fact this already exists. I don't know if you know, but in the status bar, there is a blue ball, which by clicking opens a picture where it shows all the informed buffs and debuffs. Passing it you can visualize the time and with that go checking when it's time to renew. In the Classic client, these markings have even been marked with a stopwatch.

don't worry, I understand what you mean, but I mean something slightly different

the buff shows you how long the healing lasts but the wait to recast it seems to be longer than the duration of the healing.

it's very confusing, but if we got a debuff saying when we can recast it, happy days

it's mainly a quality of life/functionality suggestion.

Would be nice, there's been a time or two where i've disconnected (which means coming back to a grey screen or at least a dead pet) that i THOUGHT i was OK because i casted gift of life just to see that it had worn off.
Perhaps a color change to the pet when it is no longer under the effect of GOL (similar to how steam can make your character purple while casting a spell)
