Not A Bug Plant won't go into deco mode

So I grew this black elephant ear and there is no button to set as decorative like all the other plants. It's in a garden bed so I can't release or anything. It's stuck there atleast until I axe the bed.

Please say [where and give me the numbers the client gives you for your location.

Top left, the plant’s maturation stage, days 1 – 9. At day 7 the plant is mature and can be pollinated, on day 9 it will self-pollinate if no pollination has been done by the player and the count will stop. The plant can now be removed and set decorative or left to produce seeds and resources if it has any.

Hello sorry I've been away form a computer for some time. When I logged back in the plant Gump menu appeared with the button so it fixed itself. Must have been just a fluke.
