Not A Bug Pet Beetle went poof

Had a bonded blue beetle. I might not have been mounted but my stable slots are 1/6, so not maxed out. I wasn't online for 30-45 days on this character, so I'm just now aware. I might have told the beetle to stay, instead of having it follow me, but can not be certain as it was some time ago.

Even though bonded pets on Heritage do not lose loyalty while being used(custom) they are still subject to the BondingAbandonDelay

If a bonded pet is simply left in the world and its owner does not log in, it will lose bonded status and then decay like any other pet. This is almost always because a mounted pet was dismounted and left that way by mistake.

The reason why this always seems to happen to beetles is simple - auto stable, the other safety net, does not work on pack animals with contents. If the beetle even had one item in its pack, it will not auto stable when you log out.
