@Dan
Referencing our discord conversation, no matter your intentions, removing resources from NPC vendors did add a substantial grind to the game. If player A wants to imbue a suit they can no longer go to a jeweler and buy the gems necessary to imbue. Somebody has to go grind for those gems now. Whether player A accepts that burden or they wait for player B to do it and put them on a vendor, you've added another hoop for someone to jump through before they can imbue a suit. It's forcing more player engagement by adding another grind. Time required to imbue a suit went up substantially.
My point is that changes like that "make sense" in a sub based game or a game with bonus resource multipliers in a cash shop. In that case it's benefiting the owner at the expense of players time/money. On our shard it's not benefiting anyone. The players are forced to jump through extra hoops but nobody benefits.
By no means was I accusing you of trying to make money from the changes. I was just pointing out that some of the changes you've made are popular in sub based games that seek to constantly maximize player engagement time.
