It literally costing a fortune now to catch lobsters and crabs, about 300 to 500 gold to catch 1 crustacean. the bobs can take up to 3 mins to get your first bob and there is about a 50% chance that you lose the trap before the first bob!
I also ran a test on 20 single traps and below are my results. Last night i had traps in my bag from the testing and when i logged in this morning the traps were gone, but one and that one has fish bait in it. this trap was purchased right before testing and my char does not have bait on him.

my documents are based on lost trap or first Bob: So out of 20 single casts, I lost 8 traps on the first bob, 3 pulled in took 2 min for first bob, 2 pulled in took 3 min first bob, 7 took 1 min first bob.
90 traps purchased, 6 left, 84 lost, with 37 lobsters and crabs brought into the boat.
