Juka bows have a really funny check for this:

Looks like we only care about double slayers. So as long as you don't have a slayer prop you wont see it modified.

Edit: So due to this - you can modify a bow with gears then imbue as long as you dont double slayer (or the reverse - lol its been awhile)

The ones that say Juka Bow (Unmodified) are from a really old event on Heritage. They actually look like normal bows and you wouldn't even know unless double clicked.

There is not much I can do for those older event ones.
