Getting started?

Hello all,

I hope to hop on and join the community! I'm running into a minor issue though that probably has a simple fix. I'm not overly technical. I followed the directions with UOS with the server settings, got on to the log in page, and put in a name and password as the fine post on this site directs. I'm stuck though on the "verifying account" step. Been about 20 minutes so far. Any ideas?

I think I may have figured it out. I think the instruction to turn off the may be inaccurate - when I turned it back on and ran it, the heritage server showed up.
