Not A Bug Fishing pole cut up by dagger?

I was fishing and double clicked my dagger to cut a fish and accidentally clicked the fishing pole which went poof. I know you can axe furniture with an axe but I don't think it is supposed to work with a dagger.

EDIT: It ended up equipping the fishing pole. I am still leaving it here because it is kind of odd.

When you double click a fishing pole and then select a target it auto-equips it. If the dagger was close to the pole you may have accidently double clicked the pole but thought you had double clicked the dagger. I confirmed on production that it acts similar.
