Regardless, even if it is a guildie or ally they should still affect.

Fields in an arena fight are lame anyhow... It should be an option... just like in your other forum post... can't cast summons... another lame thing in an arena fight. If you end up with 2 mages casting pixies or something the fight will never end lol. May as well have 2 tamers in there saying "ALL KILL"!

Fields don';t effect allies. They follow the same rules as an indirect target such as wither.

I think you can cast fields, they just don't affect your opponent.

ya people run through para fields like they aren't there. poison doesn't flag. wildfire doesn't work. Potions that can be thrown doesn't work (explo, conflag). Anything with a field

You can cast/throw these things. They just have no effect when they are up.

fields aren't usually used/allowed in duels, if they took the system from OSI they would be turned off or generally disabled somehow...

No it’s a custom system. I just tested it and it worked fine, ie poison field poisons, etc.

So, your opponent, who is orange, isn’t being effected by these?

We will test this. I can't remember. I know when I fought Noah we were def not partied

Confirmed, they work. Thanks for DewCono for helping me confirm. If you are partied, or guilded/allied may prevent area spells/fields from working.
