Not A Bug Ethereal Mounts disappear when trading sometimes

Brospehine handed me a Metal Box, and this happened!? Her mount disappeared.. I asked her if she had done anything, used an item, or skill.. and she said she did nothing, since the only thing that happened was a trade, I handed her the box back, and her mount appeared, not when she accepted it, and it hit her pack, it re-appeared when i dropped it on her to initiate trade.. she was riding the Vet Reward Valorite Horse.

Ethereal mounts do this all the time when I trade. I usually crash though on trade and it reverts back

Given up with razor enhanced for now because of the stupid keybind modifiers issue

I have never seen mounts disappear. Ever.. i figured it either had something to do with the mount or the box.

Can you guys get together and try the same thing again a few times?

There was an issue, that was just patched, where the metal box, when turned, would go from being a metal box weighing 5 stones to a strongbox weighing 100 stones. This issue has been fixed so I wonder if it had something to do with it flipping in your bag?

Had it just now trading a draconic orb to August. The mount disappeared as soon as I dropped one on his head and the trade opened.

Definitely not just containers

The eth in question was a white boura or something like that

does this happen on EA? does the ethy ever come back or do you have to dismount/remount?

It's hard to say if it's on EA because it isn't every time you trade just randomly.

They have to remount or you can recall away and back and it's there again.

I'm not sure about omalley as it's his bug but it's not of any major issue to me, and it's probably not worth any time from yourself or Dan yet since it can't be accurately replicated. I was just adding more information to the report because I remember some uncertainty about containers causing the issue.

Should we make sure its not a client issue? I'd bet money its something out of the control of the server.

Yeah going to mark this as not a bug. Too many things it could be. UOSteam being out dated, corrupted clients, ect.
