FIXED Dull Copper Elemental - Desert of Compassion

I haven't looked for them there, but one place they do exist is in the rat mines north of Sacrifice Shrine in Ilshenar. There, you can find all of the ore elemental types. Dull coppers are located near the entrance. You won't have to go far to find them, they will find YOU! :p

Dan, I do think the Dull Copper Eles loot is bugged and this is due to OSI. Every Ore ele normally gives out a pile of 25 ore of their type EXCEPT for Dull Copper Eles, which oddly only give out 2. It seems to me whoever originally created them at OSI messed up when typing in the 25 and didn't press the 5 key hard enough or something so that it ended up being 2 instead of 25. I respectfully ask that you please change this. The other ore type elementals work fine and don't need adjusting.

I'd also like to suggest making the ordinary Earth Eles act as an "Iron Elemental" so to speak and give out 25 normal ore of a random pile type just as the other ore elementals do. Currently they give out 5 of the smallest ore pile type, but I think doing this would give players a reason to hunt them besides training and be an interesting way for aspiring blacksmiths to hunt for ore. Cheers.. I wandered there as well but went to the other places where they should also spawn and would be nice to have them in diff places xD

Yeah it's always nice to have something like that spawn in different spots in case one is being used or just for a change of scenery or for newer players who may not be able to take on an army of various ore elementals at once.

Are we sure it is an error? I don't believe that to be the case.

When ore elementals first came on the scene only TWO originally spawned in the wild. Earth Elementals and Dull Copper Elementals. These spawn with 5 and that had always been the case.

All the other ones, originally, were "dug" up using gargoyles pickaxe and thus got the 25.

I'm not going to lie - mining by hunting elementals is way more fun than mining with a shovel. This should be a feature request though as it is not bugged - its just how it is.

Couldn't agree more!

During the summer festival invasion of Papua, I managed to score over 8k worth of Shadow ingots. I specifically targeted the Brutes just for the ore and sent it to the bank using a bag of sending. My mule later retrieved it and smelted. :) I scored the robe and statue early on during the invasion leaving me free to mine the Brutes.

They currently drop only 2 ore, but regardless of whether it was an OSI typo or not, but it seems reasonable they should give 25 like all of the other colored ore elementals do. I think it would be a good idea to update the Earth Eles as well so they drop 25. This would make hunting them fun and worthwhile for miners.
