Not A Bug Bushido Lightning Strike

When using lightning strike you do not mana leech with a mana leech weapon...if you use per say momentum strike you do but lightning strike you will just spam though mana and never leech

Got any links that come right out and say you should? Maybe they both can not proc at the same time?

That is a very popular sampire technique for refilling mana on OSI. Unless it was changed, Lightning strike is treated as a regular melee hit (with hit spells, and such) it just gains an HCI bonus, and a chance to "critical hit" as well. I'll test on my next kill if it is leeching for me or not.

Not sure what the issue is - but I am definitely leeching mana with Lightning strike at the moment.

Could be situation specific.

lighting strike was always a melee skill just inc your HCI it should proc any effects your weapon has, it is not a spell just a focused attack highlighted states its not a spell but a stat bonus
