FIXED Bane Dragons

I did not originally want to post this because on discord you mentioned that the bane dragons were very over powered and that you had to tame them down. I figured, that this was intentional and there was no reason to make a case on the forums.

UO-Cah lists the hit point and strength tamed range almost double then what my dragons came in at.

I found this person selling and untrained Bane dragon on UO forums back on July 8th

Agree, I punched in the info into the intensity calculator for training on UO-CAH. It said my dragon was at -167.55% of normal.

Guys just 2 cents-this stats of "tamed bane dragon" was from statue ones-i think we should have then not half stats after taming bcs we need to tame them... Anyway i agree with wild elf bcs this dragons with actuall stats was nothing really usefull :/

So currently this is the Bane Dragons code:

Code:
            SetStr(500, 555);
            SetDex(85, 125);
            SetInt(100, 165);

            SetHits(550, 650);

            SetDamage(20, 26);

            SetDamageType(ResistanceType.Physical, 50);
            SetDamageType(ResistanceType.Cold, 25);
            SetDamageType(ResistanceType.Poison, 25);

            SetResistance(ResistanceType.Physical, 60, 70);
            SetResistance(ResistanceType.Fire, 40, 50);
            SetResistance(ResistanceType.Cold, 30, 45);
            SetResistance(ResistanceType.Poison, 50, 60);
            SetResistance(ResistanceType.Energy, 20, 40);

            SetSkill(SkillName.Anatomy, 10.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.MagicResist, 85.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.Tactics, 110.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.Wrestling, 90.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.Magery, 45.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.EvalInt, 35.0);
            SetSkill(SkillName.Meditation, 35.0);

They are getting stats halved after tame. Should they simply not be?

well it depends on how you want that event room to run. Ether don't half their stats states on taming or bump their states to the proper level. If you bumped their stats, I would remove two of them from spawning :p According to broadswords forums they also should have the poisoning skill on them. The ones spawning do not.

So here are the changes coming through the pipeline:

- Same stats as now, simply just will no longer halve them on tame.
- Will spawn with its built-in special ability power at 5 out of 10, to preventing feeding issues/confusion.
- The fact that they prefer blackrock stew has been added to the animal lore gump.

As far as the poisoning, in those pictures on the UO wiki I understand they claim it is untrained but no way to truly confirm, they can be trained in it.

We would need to find other sources in regards to the skills on start to verify.

uocah says nothing, uostratics says 0.

so it will start at 0 and gain as it poisons right? one will not to have to add that skill in after the fact?

We need to look into that whole aspect more and get more information.

when i get time i will try and sleuth around more this. It sounds like the black rock stew plays into its poison in skill.

A lot of this is just guessing. It is similar, SOMETIMES, to the misinformation that I see thrown around here from time to time.

Not people just trying to be malicious, just a misunderstanding of how something worked/works/ just throwing stuff out there like people like to do.

Multiple reports will help collaborate it though.

I get it, and that's what I try to do... With enough digging I might find more info on broadswords website. It is not very user friendly when it comes to finding out older information.

Yeah, I understand your struggle.

Hours spent digging through it trying to find stuff in the past.
