When using "combat mastery" to gain skill, it takes zero mana and can be spammed all the way to 120. Using this method you can get to 120 taming in about 30 minutes instead of days. This ability is supposed to take 40 mana each time.


This means it takes >30 minutes to get 90-120 taming instead of 20-40 hours.

Are you casting and when the menu pops up, you close the menu and cast again? if so, it doesn't take the mana till you select something from menu!

No, it has a flat cost of 40, and then once you choose an option it has an upkeep
