Starting December 1st the following will be activated:
The Heritage Christmas Tree
The Artisan Festival
Krampus is terrorizing trade routes
Krampus is spawned by running trade order missions. To start a trade order, you need to find a Trade Minister in a town. Every town that has a Governor's Seat, has a Trade Minister. Most are located at a town's docks.
The Heritage Christmas Tree
- From December 1st until December 26th the tree will be activated. It will be located in Luna.
- Requires 1 Legacy to use.
- Once every 24 hours, you can claim 1 gift per account.
- Over 40 different gifts to collect.
The Artisan Festival
- The Artisan Festival lasts for 3 days in each city during the event. It will start in Britain.
- While the Artisan Festival is active within a city, players can turn in Bulk Order Deeds to elves at a specially decorated location within each City,
- Britain – East Britain Park
- Jhelom – East of The Pearl of Jhelom
- Minoc – West of The Matewan
- Moonglow – East of the Scholar’s Goods
- New Magincia – The Gazebo
- Skara Brae – South of the Healer of Skara Brae
- Trinsic – The Park
- Vesper – East of the Fisherman’s Guild
- Yew – East of the Yew Healer
- As players turn in Bulk Order Deeds to the Elf, the holiday tree begins to grow and players are entered into the gift raffle held at the conclusion of the 3 day period. Players receive a number of entries based on the worth of the Bulk Order Deed they turn in.
- When giving the elf a completed BOD, the elf will indicate a general level of progress towards the next tree level (added 2019)
- The greater the value of Bulk Order Deeds that are turned in, the bigger and better the Holiday Tree grows;
stage 1
stage 2
stage 3
stage 4
until it reached its maximum size at which time all raffle entrants receive a reward when the festival concludes in each city. Rewards are scaled to a percentage of total participants for each tree size below the maximum tree size. - Values are calculated on the ‘banked’ value of the BoD, not the full value. ie 2% of the full value for small orders, 20% for large orders. Therefore several low-level large BoDs can give more value than higher-level small BoDs
- Players claim their rewards by double-clicking on the large gift bag near the elf.
- Players receive a gift box that can be used to unwrap a random reward inside.
- Rewards are vice and virtue themed holiday items:
Krampus is terrorizing trade routes
Krampus is spawned by running trade order missions. To start a trade order, you need to find a Trade Minister in a town. Every town that has a Governor's Seat, has a Trade Minister. Most are located at a town's docks.
On your way to your destination, you are likely to be ambushed. The closer Krampus is to spawning, the more difficult the ambushers become. There are 5 waves of ambushers, each ambusher set contains between 3 and 5 mobs. Ambushers do not need to be killed for the run to count towards spawning Krampus. You can choose to ignore the ambushers, but they may attack other unsuspecting players (they will also despawn if left alone for a period of time). Wave 1: Frost Oozes and Frost Spiders Wave 2: Snow Elementals & Ice Elementals Wave 3: Snakes and Frost Trolls Wave 4: Ice Friends and White Wyrms NOTE: These are not normal Ice Fiends and White Wyrms and can have over 2600 health. Wave 5: Minions (~3500 health for the Minions in Wave 5) You can also get water ambushers when traveling by boat. End Encounter: Minions and Krampus If Krampus spawns on you during a trade mission you will get a double message. The first message indicates you sense an attack. The second message gives you the spawning location of Krampus. You only get the message of where Krampus spawned when you are on an active trade order. Get out that sextant and start working your way to the spawn. Trade Ministers will stop issuing Trade Orders once Krampus has spawned. They will instead bark the location that Krampus is located when you try to get an order. You may, however, still turn in an active trade order while Krampus is out. Krampus spawns five minutes after the spawn message appears. Before he can be attacked, his guardians (a set of minions) need to be killed. Krampus has a small tether radius and will leash (or rubber-band) back to his starting location if pulled too far away. Krampus has around ~40k Hit Points and will regen incredibly fast when not engaged Each time Krampus spawns he can spawn with a different Weapon Specialization Occasionally when he teleports you to him, he will do a 'Bone Breaker' special move on you. This move does massive stamina damage and applies a debuff that will continually drain your stamina over time until it wears off. After getting hit with a Bone Breaker move, you gain immunity to being hit with it again for a short duration. ![]() |
