Changes
  • The Heritage Stone luck bonus has been retired. The limited number of stones held by players are now strictly for decoration purposes only.
  • The Fall Festival Spell books have had a balance patch pushed forward to bring them more in line with current UO.
    • As per current UO any "Invasion"(Fall Festival) spell book that has a slayer attached to it is capped at 30 SDI.

Bug Fixes
  • Peerless keys are now blessed.
  • Added the proper safety checks when applying rare color hair dye.
  • You can now mouse over items in the UO Heritage store to see what properties they have.

Additions were also added to the Summer Festival. Please see the changes HERE

  • Name Change Tokens have been added to the UO Heritage Store.
    • These Tokens will cost 800 Sovereigns.
    • Due to the Unique Naming system we use on Heritage we had to code these a bit differently. What the token will do is set your name to "Generic Player" and log you off. On login you will be prompted with the normal menu option to change your name.
Changes
  • If you have an invalid name and have the menu up to change it you will no longer be able to move in the world until you do.
  • The timers have been removed from the Medusa and Stygian Dragon keys. We have completed the removal of all timers from Peerless keys. The Exodus encounter keys will still have timers and will be the only one.
  • The Dreaded ANTI AFK CAPTCHA has been fixed and turned back on. It has a 0.001% chance to check if you are AFK gathering resources, Bulk Orders, or Quests.

Bug Fixes
  • The UO Heritage Store menu will now display correctly in the Enhanced Client.
  • The CAPTCHA menu now displays correctly in the Enhanced Client.
  • Added future support for all other menus that need to be rendered differently on the Enhanced Client.

  • Town Cryer News & Quests
    The “News” section of the Town Cryer offers a variety of quests designed to introduce players to new and existing content. These
    Quests can be accepted via the “Quest” button in each Town Cryer article and are non-repeatable.

    Where appropriate, news articles have a “Learn More” button that will open a webpage to pertinent wiki-entries on UO.com.

    Town Cryer quests are available for the following content areas,
    • Animal Training updates
    • The Wreck of the Ararat
    • The Huntmaster’s Challenge
    • Dungeon Shame
    • Dungeon Wrong
    • Castle Blackthorn Dungeon
    • Treasure Hunting
    • Dungeon Covetous
    • Dungeon Despise
  • Some of these quests are of increasing difficulty and will take a considerable time to complete, requiring at the later stages well developed characters or sometimes groups of adventurers.

    Town Cryer EM(staff), City & Guild Events
    • EM(staff) event information, City Governor posts, and Guild Events are available in their respective sections of the Town Cryer.
    • Updates to the Town Cryer are done through a context menu accessed on NPC Town Criers.
    • Only the updates options the user has permissions for are displayed.
    • Governor Entries
      • May be accessed by the Governor.
      • Must have a headline, at least one paragraph entry, and an expiry between 1-14 days.
      • May have up to 5 active articles at any time.
      • Entries are cleaned up at the time of expiry.
    • Guild Events
      • Guilds with 20 or more members may have 1 active event notice in the Town Cryer guild section.
      • Guild Leaders & Warlords have permission to input, update, and delete event notices.
      • A total of 150 guild event notices may be active at any given time.
      • Events are sorted by date and cleaned up when the event date has passed.
      • Guild event notices require a headline, event month, event day, event time, event timezone, event meeting place, and event description.
      • Events may be posted for the current month and the following month.
      • Inappropriate entries into the Town Cryer will result in guilds losing permission to input further events.

  • Invasion System
    • Purchased and implemented a new "Invasion" system. This system will allow us to create some great in-game events. Be on the look out for an Invasion soon! The features of the system incude:
      • Comprehensive UI for spawn, loot, rank, level, and prize configuration, to allow you to easily build complex regional assaults with great loot and rewards.
      • Invade towns and dungeons, or decimate a named custom region.
      • Full damage, kills and score tracking with real-time UI updates for all participants who dare to defend the assault, or turn up to watch from a safe distance.
      • Invasions can be scheduled automatically or started manually on impulse by a member of staff with sufficient access.
      • Enabling Invasion Portals when setting up an Invasion will cause the Invasion to spawn gates in the target region, and the creature spawn will tend to congregate around them.
        • These gates can be attacked by defenders for bonus points.
        • With this feature disabled, creature spawns will appear at any valid spawning location within the target region, no gates will be spawned.
      • Moongates may optionally be spawned in all towns automatically at the start of an Invasion that will allow players to teleport to the assaulted region quickly.
      • Invasions may be set up with a Gold Pool, this is an amount of Gold that is distributed among all participants at the end of the Invasion.
      • The Gold Pool split is based on each participants' total percentage of damage contributed to the overall Invasion.

Changes
  • Vote stones have been removed.

Bug Fixes
  • An issue where pets could remain frozen after being webbed from Mephitis or Navrey has been resolved.
  • The Dolphin Rug, Rose Rug, and Skull Rug now show the amount of resources remaining on mouse over.
  • Mining Cart, Sheep Statue, and Tree stump should now update properties when resources are taken out.
  • Peerless Hair Dye now uses the correct hair dye menu.
  • All special items, like peerless ingredients and unique monster dropped items that appear on the corpse, will now be subject to "Instant loot". What this means is they should appear in your own individual loot sections, if not in a party, like gold and basic magic items do.
  • The Seed Box now correctly only weighs 10 stones regardless of how many seeds are contained within.
  • Costumes now only work when equipped. Taking damage in costume form will force the costume off.
  • No facial hair to facial hair now colors beard the same color as the players hair. This now allows players to get facial hair the same color as their hair when using special hair dyes. Per UO the only way to do this is: 1. Dye hair, 2. remove beard, 3. add beard. It will derive its color from your hair.
  • Certain small Tinker bods will now combine correctly with large bulk order deeds.
  • Any red players will now correctly be moved to the Chaos shrine in Felucca if they go red (reported late) in a non-felucca facet.
  • Carving with special blades (Harvester) now will put all resources in a players backpack.
  • Vorpal bunnies should no longer be guard whacked.
  • Orc Brutes will no longer summon orcs while controlled/summoned.
  • Earrings of protection now show the proper color when dyed.

  • Added Paladin spawn to Trinsic.
  • Noble Sacrafice no longer attempts to affect creatures, criminals, or murderers.
  • Smelting now uses the higher of blacksmith or mining
    • The formula is still being tweaked so you may get a little more back with higher blacksmithing in the mean time.
  • Possible fix for spider web and pets being stuck too long.
  • Tweaks for pets with poisoning and poison breath.

  • Since we removed the CAPTCHA we have also removed town vendors ability to purchase items from players. (Exactly like it is on Siege)
  • A few unique equipment dyes and the goblin statues have been added to the UO Heritage store.
  • New characters are now created with the Skill Mastery Book in their backpack. The Skill Mastery Book NPC has been removed.

  • Pet training menus now render correctly in the enhanced client.

  • Players will now be instructed on how to use world chat if they attempt to use the replaced [c or [chat commands.
  • Cleanup Britannia points can now be exchanged between characters on an account by visiting the Cleanup Exchange Stone located at the Britain Commons.
  • The real Hitching Post can now be purchased from the UO Heritage store for 500 Sovereigns. It is located under the Decorations tab.
    • Unlike the Tinker made Hitching Post(replica) this one can be re-charged an unlimited amount of times.
  • City Loyalty points and Virtue points have always decayed on Heritage if you do not log in, per character, once every 40 hours. The difference here is now you will see the same message you see on UO when you login.
    • If you see "The moons of Trammel and Felucca align to preserve your virtue status and city loyalty." then you know you have not received any decay and are safe for another 40 hours.
    • If you see "The moons of Trammel and Felucca fail to preserve your virtue status and city loyalty." then it has been more than 40 hours since you logged into the world with that character and you have lost some Virtue and City loyalty points.

Bug Fixes

  • City Loyalty system bulletin boards updated to match current UO.
  • You can now toggle on and off the message you receive when gaining City Loyalty from the Loyalty menu.
  • Necro AI pets and monsters no longer cast the cure(magery) spell.
  • Ninja AI creatures now cast mirror image properly.
  • Fish Monger Quest offers will now only read your base skill. (items that increase fishing will not count towards your chance of being offered higher intensity fishing quests)
  • Added check for taming requirements prior to pets control slot increase (first training iteration for that level). If the player does not meet the control requirement for the next slot increase, they will not be able to train the pet.
  • Travesty peerless now correctly summons her ninja minions all over the encounter room. She also now correctly casts mirror image and will imitate your abilities / powers. This will increase her difficulty so use caution when attempting her until you master these changes.
  • SOS's now correctly scale the correct amount of gold and items.
  • The Deceit level 1 Summoning Brazier now works correctly.

  • Special Scroll Books, (Power scroll books, ect) contents no longer cound towards item count or weight.
  • Tinker tool small bods no longer come with resource requirements.
  • Mining gloves can now be reforged properly.
  • Fixed an issue where under certain circumstances more than 3 cached bods would be given to a player.
  • Zombies and Skeletons no longer attack players, unless attacked first, on New Haven Island.

  • If unable to accept a quest, for any reason, you will now receive a message from the quest NPC.
  • Fixed the way the Town Crier News Menu font color displayed when using custom entries.
  • Added spell damage increase bonus to Death Ray, Holy Fist, and Nether Blast Skill Mastery Spells.
  • Damage to caster no longer removes the Rampage Skill Mastery.
  • Summon Reaper Skill Mastery now scales its dispel difficulty based on the casters power.
  • Added uncapped Spell Damage (except PVP) to the Word of Death Spellweaving spell.

  • Fixed a movement exploit in the EC. (Required a core re-compile)
  • Fixed an issue where removing stacked items from Instanced Corpses created undesirable stacks.
  • Throwing Special Moves are now correctly affected by Lower Mana Cost.
  • Small and Large Tinker Bulk Order Jewelry now come in the correct different gem types.
  • Newly spawned Fertile Dirt will now weigh 0.1 stones.

  • The entire Shame Dungeon has been re-worked and re-spawned. It now currently matches UO 100%. Missing mini bosses now spawn correctly.
  • Whetstones of Enervation can no longer be stacked.

  • Weapons now lose durability correctly.
  • Removed the misinforming "Requires The Mondain's Legacy Expansion" message and all other expansion messages from the craft menus.
  • Pets now have the correct control slot requirements and taming requirements.
    • Giant Beetles will now correctly spawn as 1 slot pets and retain 500 INT when tamed.
    • Lesser Hiryus will now correctly spawn as 1 slot pets.
  • Various custom event items that could not be dyed with special dyes now can be dyed.
  • Fixed a labeling issue with kegs and newer potions.
  • Serado now currently uses the area poison ability.
  • The Floating docks in Trammel and Felucca now have the correct spawn and merchants.
