Fall Festival 2017 - 01 October through 30 November 2017

The Fall Festival is once again active and can be accessed through the special entrance set up at Britain Bank (trammel).

Events:

1. Player Zombies (Active starting October 1st)

• Every time a player dies there is a small chance for a Zombie Skeleton with their name to spawn in the graveyards of Britain, Trinsic, Vesper, Moonglow or Yew. (Trammel and Felucca) A special moongate to all the grave yards can be found in the Fall Festival event area.
• When killed these Zombies have a small chance to drop a special bone container with the name of the player etched into it. These will always drop 1 Fall Festival Ticket.
• When killed these Zombies also have a small chance to drop pieces to the rare Zombie Skeleton Armor Set!

2. Pumpkin Patches (Active starting October 1st)

• Pumpkin patches now have a chance to spawn some uniquely named pumpkins. A gate to all the pumpkin patches can be found in the Fall Festival event area. Pumpkins must be picked up and trashed to force other ones to spawn. Rare ones will randomly spawn.
• Be warned sometimes picking up a pumpkin, while searching for a rare one, will result in Pumpkin Head spawning. If killed he has a chance to drop some unique masks along with Twilight Lanterns. These will always drop 1 Fall Festival Ticket.

3. Trick or Treating (Active starting October 1st)

• You can go up to NPCs and say trick or treat.
• If you get a treat you will get a random piece of candy, if you have GM Begging you have a slight chance to earn some unique decorations.
• If you get "tricked" your evil twin might visit you to cause you some trouble.

4. Unique Tamable - The Dread Mare (Active starting October 15th)

• Starting October 15th these will start to spawn, once every hour, in all the grave yards visited by the Zombie Skeletons.

5. Custom Quests (Active now)

• Various quests are set up in the Fall Festival event area. Most quests are "kill quests" and can be completed once every 24 hours. These award the most Fall Festival Tickets at a time. There are also a few crafter quests which reward unique cloth, dyes and more.

Rewards:
Inside the Fall Festival is a special Festival Rewards Merchant. This merchant will have more items added to it as the Festival moves forward.


This is only the beginning of the Fall Festival! Starting on Halloween instanced dungeons will be added. Starting in November various Turkey Day events will also be added in.

UPDATE: 10/4/2017

Warlocks has been spotted in the Vesper Cemeteries.

• A warlock will spawn once every hour in the Vesper and Yew Cemeteries of Trammel and Felucca.
• Their power will be amplified by the spellbook they carry, these spawn in various intensities so keep an eye out! This spellbook can be looted.
• Warlocks ride atop Dread Mares. Once the Warlock is defeated the Dread Mare can be tamed.

Dread Mares have been added.

• To get a dread mare you must first kill the Warlock atop it.
• Dread mares do not carry any special loot.

Update: 10/13/2017

• Warlocks now also spawn in the Yew cemeteries.
• The Warlock spellbook now has a 10% chance to spawn with 1 of 31 different slayer types. (all new types are represented)
• The Windrunner Ethereal has been added to the Fall Festival Reward Merchant. It will cost 500 Fall Festival Tickets.
• A UOGateway and UOPortal vote stone has been added to the entrance of the Fall Festival. Double click these once every 24 hours to vote for Heritage and also get a free Fall Festival Ticket.

Update: 10/16/2017

• We would like to introduce the first 2017 Unique drop of the Fall Festival.
  • Unique drops will be retired after the 2017 Fall Festival and will not be obtainable again.
    • A Magic Dread Skin Cloak - Obtained by killing Dread horses. Once a Dread Horse is tamed it will lose its ability to drop this rare Cloak.
    • 5% chance that a Dread Horse will drop this cloak, on death.

• Various new rewards have been added to the Fall Festival Ticket Merchant.

Update: 10/23/2017

• The Grim Reaper Mini Champ has been activated in the graveyard of Cove. (Can access it through the Cemetery moongate, inside the Fall Festival)
  • Every 10 minutes players can complete the spawn to summon the Grim Reaper.
  • When killed he has a 20% chance to drop a Cursed Doom Artifact. He also has a 15% chance to drop The Grim Reapers Scythe.

REMINDER: The Fall Festival will shut down on 30 November 2017.

You will have until December 14th to claim any unused tickets. On the 15th of December any Fall Festival Tickets left in the world will be removed.
